Travel along exhilarating coastal roads, winding through small fishing hamlets, bird-filled cliffs, and mesmerizing waterfalls. In this tranquil haven, away from the hustle and bustle of typical tourist spots, you can unwind with confidence, guided by our experienced experts who reveal the most scenic treasures.

Starting from the capital, your adventure kicks off in the Southern Westfjords. Begin with a dive into Viking history at Eiriksstaðir. Following the coastal road, you’ll venture into the southern fringes, where a cozy overnight stay awaits in the Patreksfjörður area. Along the way, soak in the charm of the Coastal Cliffs, the entryway to the Westfjords, and explore the Vatnsfjörður Natural Reserve, alive with canyons and waterfalls. Don’t miss the chance to unwind at the optional bathing haven of Krosslaug in Birkimel Bay, and catch a glimpse of the imposing Kleifaheiði monument gracing one of the mountain passes.

Day two promises the awe-inspiring cliffs of Látrabjarg, a haven for bird enthusiasts, the vibrant sands of Rauðasandur, and the grandeur of Dynjandi, the region’s paramount waterfall. Wind down with a leisurely stroll along Öndunarfjörður’s pier before a restful night in Ísafjörður, the capital of the Westfjords.

The third day unfolds at Bólungarvik, revealing three notable attractions. Ascend Bolafjall Mountain’s pinnacle and marvel at the newly constructed viewing platform with a skywalk. Explore the captivating Ósvör lighthouse and fishing village, then traverse the northern coast through Seven Fjords. Pause at scenic viewpoints, keeping an eye out for seals and whales, and immerse yourself in the untamed beauty of Hornstrandir’s wilderness. Wildlife sightings, from whales and birds to seals and arctic foxes (though not guaranteed), make this journey unforgettable. Know Before You Go

• Pickup: Pickup for the tour takes place between 08:30 – 09:00. Please ensure you are ready at your designated pickup location by 8:30.
• Weather Conditions: The tour operates under all weather conditions. We strongly recommend that you bring warm, windproof, and waterproof clothing to ensure your comfort throughout the trip.
• Duration: The tour spans 3 days and 2 nights. Return is around 10 PM.
• Estimated Arrival Time: On Day 3, we anticipate arriving in Reykjavík at approximately 20:30. Please note that the exact arrival time may vary depending on weather and road conditions.
• Single Travelers: If you are traveling alone, a Single Room Supplement is mandatory.
• Ferry Ride: It’s important to be aware that ferry rides may be canceled due to weather, operational, or safety reasons. In such cases, we will adjust the itinerary to drive to the Westfjords and refund the ferry fee.
• IMPORTANT: The optional activities can be canceled because of weather and/or safety reasons. Then we will find other activities when possible and refund the amount paid for the canceled activities or the price difference between the new activity and the canceled one
