Fly across the stunning landscapes of Game of Thrones, Oblivion and Prometheus.

The tour begins with a visit to Godafoss, also known as the “Waterfall of the Gods.” Lake Myvatn follows, with its numerous scenic attractions and geothermal phenomena, pseudo craters, sulfur pools and the steam-energy electric power plant of Krafla, the deepest hole of which reaches two kilometers into the Earth’s crust. We then fly across Vatnajökull National Park to visit and see Europe’s most powerful waterfall, Dettifoss, a stunning waterfall whose cascades fall from 144 feet (44 meters) into a narrow canyon. You can even feel Dettifoss’ immense force from the air.

From Dettifoss, we fly over the Theystareykjar lava field and geothermal area, with sinkholes Little Hell and Big Hell, before returning back to Akureyri through the magnificent canyon Jokulsargljufur. Relax and enjoy the view of the Troll Peninsula mountain range to the west.

During the last leg of our Diamond Circle Tour, we lower into Eyjafjordur, where there is a good chance of seeing whales as we approach Akureyri Airport.

We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if the booking is canceled 24 hours or less before the event.
We reimburse you 96.5% if the booking is cancelled with more than 24 hours notice.
3.5% is a non-refundable Merchant fee.
