The Golden Circle tour is one of the most popular sightseeing tours in Iceland. The main highlights of the route are Þingvellir National Park, Geyser Geothermal Area, and Gullfoss Waterfall. To make it even more fun and memorable we have combined it with a glacier experience.
After exploring the classic sightseeing part, our glacier guide takes you on an unforgettable adventure to Langjökull glacier – the second biggest glacier in Iceland.
Fun fact, the ride to the glacier is operated by the biggest glacier truck in the world!
Þingvellir National Park
The first stop of the day is Þingvellir National Park, where you will have a chance to walk between the tectonic rift where the North American and Euro-Asian plates meet. You will also have a chance to see the site of the first parliament (known as Alþing) in the world. That’s actually where the name Þingvellir (e. Fields of the Parliament) comes from.
Geysir Geothermal Area
From there we will head to a very active place Haukadalur (Geysir) geothermal area, where you will find the Strokkur hot spring. It is the most active geyser in Iceland that shoots hot water as high as 20-30 meters (65-98ft), approx. every 5-10 minutes. There are over 20 other sleeping geysers, including the cute Litli Geysir that looks like a boiling pot. Watch out for getting too close to it, its water temperature is about 100°C (212°F).
Gullfoss Waterfall
To cool down, we continue the drive to Gullfoss waterfall, the second biggest waterfall in Iceland. In the summer, if you stand close enough to the falls, you will feel fresh mist touching your face.
At this point, you have covered all three main attractions of the famous Golden Circle route. Get ready for the glacier!
Langjökull glacier
At the Gullfoss parking lot, you will meet our glacier guide who will take you on an unforgettable monster truck adventure to Langjökull Glacier located just 45 minutes. away. The glacier activity is approximately 4 hours long.
From March to October, enjoy a unique summer adventure driving on the glacier, sipping hot cocoa, and playing a round of golf atop the ice. Starting in November, our winter tours take you into the heart of an ice cave for a mesmerizing exploration of the glacier’s interior.
Please note that the glacier activity is run in a shared group.

How long is the tour?
The tour is approximately 11 hours, including the 4-hour glacier activity.

What is the cancellation policy for this service?
No cancellation fee will be charged if a client cancels the booking more than 48 hours and you will be entitled to get a 96.5% refund.
A 3.5% is non-refundable and it represents the transaction fee.
A 100% cancellation fee will be charged for the cancellations received within 48 hours before the service date.
If the transfer service is canceled by us due to the weather or any other mishaps, you will get a 100% refund from us.
