On a guided volcano hike in Landmannalaugar, you can see some of Iceland’s most stunning natural scenery. Landmannalaugar is located in the Fjallabak Nature Reserve in the highlands of Iceland and is known for its colorful rhyolite mountains, geothermal hot springs, and stunning hiking trails.

The area is a highly active one whose landscape was largely shaped by a volcanic eruption in 1477. Its unique beauty makes it a prime location for both adventure and photography.

The tour to Landmannalaugar begins with a Super-Jeep ride from Reykjavik, where we’ll traverse rivers as we make our way to the highlands. Along the way, our knowledgeable guide will share interesting historical facts and stories, but the main focus will be on having an incredible experience.

After the long day, you will get to relax in the natural hot springs in the Icelandic highlands.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring as small of luggage as possible. Wear appropriate clothes for hiking, including gloves and a hat. The terrain is rocky, so we advise wearing sturdy boots and a waterproof jacket.
