Next, we’ll visit the impressive Skógafoss waterfall, which is 60m high and has an interesting Viking legend attached to it. Our guide will tell you the story and you’ll have the opportunity to go behind the waterfall to see if there are any treasures hidden there.

At 12:00 PM, you’ll meet our glacier guide in Vík town for the exciting Katla Glacier Ice Cave activity. Our guide will drive you in a modified super jeep (30-60 minutes) to the magnificent ice cave located 45 minutes away at Katlajökull. Once you arrive at the glacier area, our guide will provide you with the necessary gear, such as a helmet, headlamp, and crampons, and brief you on safety measures, what to expect, etc.

You’ll then take a short walk to the glacier ice cave (5-10 minutes) and enter it to explore its beauty. You’ll have plenty of time for photos and exploration (45-60 minutes) in the glacier area. Our local guide will provide you with more information on how the ice cave was formed and answer any questions you may have.

After a great ice cave adventure, we’ll take you to Reynisfjara, a world-famous black sand beach with basalt column caves and mystical rock structures in the ocean. You’ll have the opportunity to capture photos of this unique landscape and take a stroll along the beach.
