Skogafoss Waterfall

Our next stop is the Skogafoss Waterfall. Due to its south-facing position, it is often covered in beautiful rainbows as the 60-meter (190 ft) cascade of water produces a lot of sprays. This location is one of the most popular visited sights in Iceland. In good weather, you can also climb up the stairs to the top to enjoy the view of this waterfall as well.

Seljalandsfoss and Gljufrabui Waterfalls

Our first stop of the tour will be at the famous Seljalandsfoss waterfall, you’ll be able to see it from afar off the distance as we approach Route 1. As we are getting closer, you’ll be able to experience it right up close as it crashes off the side of Eyfjallajokull volcano from a height of 60 meters (190 ft). Remember to ask your guide all about the famous eruption here back in 2010, which made Iceland famous all around the world. Within a few minutes walk from Seljalandsfoss waterfall, there is another beautiful but hidden waterfall called Gljufrabui, which most visitors miss, don’t worry, we will show you this beautiful gem.

When is the pick-up time for the tour?

15 minutes prior to the departure time. Please be ready at your pick-up point with your voucher, either in digital or printed form. If you don’t request the pickup service.
If you have requested a hotel pickup, please be at your chosen pickup location 30 minutes before the departure of the tour. Look for the Reykjavík Excursions bus which will be outside your accommodation within 30 minutes of pickup.

How many people are on the tour?

You will be traveling in a coach that holds approximately 40-65 people but is very spacious and comfortable. The bus offers free wifi and USB charging ports.

We will make a stop in Hvollsvöllur on the way, where you have time to buy food and drinks

Who can drive the snowmobile?

Please note: All drivers must be 17 years of age or older and have a full, valid driver’s license. A learner’s permit, tractor, or motorcycle license is not sufficient according to Icelandic law.

How many people are on the snowmobile?

Two riders share each snowmobile and single riders and groups traveling together with odd numbers are required to book a single ride extra.

What should we wear on the tour?

Bring with you: Dress according to the weather. In Iceland, it is always wise to dress in warm, waterproof clothes. Weather changes can be sudden so expect the unexpected. Bring a waterproof jacket and pants, headwear, and gloves. Good outdoor shoes are recommended.

Do we have a guide with us for the sightseeing part?

Please note, we use an audio guide, we recommend that you bring your own headphones, simply because they will fit you best. It is also great for the environment. If you don’t have your headphones, with you or forgot to bring them, no worries we sell earphones on board.

What is the cancellation policy for this service?

No cancellation fee will be charged if a client cancels the booking more than 48 hours and you will be entitled to get a 96.5% refund.
A 3.5% is non-refundable and it represents the transaction fee.
A 100% cancellation fee will be charged for the cancellations received within 48 hours before the service date.
If the transfer service is canceled by us due to the weather or any other mishaps, you will get a 100% refund from us.
