The majestic waterfall Dynjandi from Ísafjörður

Embark on an exhilarating journey from The Majestic Waterfall Dynjandi from Isafjordur, as we venture through not one, but two underground tunnels, traverse mountains, and traverse along breathtaking fjords. Our ultimate destination? The awe-inspiring Dynjandi waterfall is nestled in Arnarfjorður fjord. Prepare to be left in awe as you gaze upon its thunderous cascades. Take a hike up to the waterfall’s base, or simply admire it from the comfort of the parking lot.

Afterward, we’ll head to Hrafnseyri cafe, where you can treat yourself to delicious coffee and cakes. Then, we’ll visit Audkula farm, where a large colony of Eider Ducks thrives during the breeding season. Keep an eye out for the majestic King Eider in its natural nesting environment. During the summer months, Humpback whales are a common sight in the fjord, so don’t forget your camera!

If weather permits, we’ll make our way back across the mountains via the Hrafnseyrarheiði or Álftamýrarheiði heath roads, which are only accessible during the summer months. Alternatively, we’ll make our return journey via the tunnels.

What’s included? Your entry and admission fees are included in the tour price, as well as Wi-Fi on board. You’ll be accompanied by a knowledgeable driver-guide, who will safely transport you in our truck.

Exclusions: Food and drinks are not included, so be sure to bring along some snacks and drinks for the trip.

Please note: While there’s a short hiking trail from the parking lot to the base of Dynjandi waterfall, it’s entirely up to you whether you want to take on the hike or simply admire the waterfall from afar.
