KRÝSUVÍK GEOTHERMAL AREA

Your trip will begin with a pick-up from your hotel. It will then take you to a 45-minute drive to the Seltun geothermal area. Upon reaching the area, the geothermal’s sulfur smell will engulf you. Explore the nearby springs while taking in the area’s stunning hillside.

FAGRADALSFJALL

We then travel to the well-known Fagradalsfjall volcano, which is located just outside Grindavik. An easy 45-minute hike will take you to the viewpoint, from which you can see the crater the volcano left behind as well as the recently formed, still-cooling lava field that filled up the valley around it. Your private tour guide will lead the way and fill you in on every detail of the recent geological activity in this region. You will also have the chance to get your personal souvenir. The stunning mystery hidden in the local volcanic rocks in the area must not be missed!

LOCAL RESTAURANT

After the like, we stop for lunch in a local, family-run restaurant in Grindavik where you may choose from a selection of local cuisines from Iceland, including local soups, sandwiches, and fish meals.

THE BLUE LAGOON

We’ll finish the day with a lovely, soothing soak in the ethereal waters of the Blue Lagoon, which is located on the other side of Grindavik. You will get the chance to apply a silica facial mask and take advantage of its therapeutic benefits while enjoying a refreshing drink from the swim-up bar.
