The tour begins with pickup at Seyðisfjörður Cruise Port or at select meeting points in Egilsstaðir, including the Vök Baths and the Hús Handanna Craft Shop. We first stop for photos at Rjúkandi Waterfall, a beautiful yet often-overlooked cascade on the route.
Next, we travel into the highlands to Stuðlagil Canyon, where your guide leads a walk along a gravel path with spectacular views of the canyon’s basalt walls and vibrant glacial waters. The hike is moderate, mostly flat with two minor slopes.
